Viewlay

Viewlay for Events

Give your attendees a live view of everything happening at your event.

No app to download. No account to create. Just visit viewlay.com at the venue and see what's happening — right now, right here.

Events are full of information that never reaches people

The schedule is buried in a PDF. The speakers page is three clicks deep. Side conversations happen in Slack channels most attendees aren't in. People leave without making the connections they came for.

Viewlay puts everything in one place — on a map, visible to everyone at the venue, the moment they arrive.

What you get

Your event, on the map

Before the event, I pre-load a curated set of posts — your main site, speakers page, schedule, featured sessions, and anything else that matters. These stay pinned and visible for the full duration of the event.

Zero friction for attendees

Attendees visit viewlay.com from any browser at the venue. No app to download, no account to set up. The map loads and your event is right there.

Attendees can post too

Anyone physically at the venue can add their own posts — promoting themselves, coordinating meetups, sharing what they're excited about. Attendee posts expire every 24 hours, so the map stays relevant and the noise doesn't accumulate.

A shared signal for the room

Everyone at the event sees the same map. Conversations that would have stayed siloed in a Slack channel or Twitter thread become visible to the whole room. It creates a shared context that's hard to manufacture any other way.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send me your event details

Name, location, dates, and any links you want included. Takes a few minutes.

  2. 2

I set up your curated posts

Main site, speakers, schedule, featured sessions — whatever matters most for your attendees.

  3. 3

    Share viewlay.com with attendees

Works in any browser. No setup on their end.

  4. 4

    Attendees explore, post, and connect

They see your curated content and can add their own. The map is live for the full event.

Running an event?

Viewlay is in pilot. There's no charge right now — I'm looking for real events to test with and honest feedback on whether it's useful. If you have an upcoming event, reach out and I can get it set up quickly.
